E-Waste Management Policy

Commitment to a Sustainable Digital Future

Our Environmental Commitment

At Inecoliv Technology India Pvt Ltd, our core mission is to bridge the gap between complex technology and operational efficiency by delivering world-class Information and Communication Technology (ICT) infrastructure. As we power the digital architectures of modern businesses, we also acknowledge our profound responsibility toward environmental sustainability.

Electronic waste (E-Waste) is one of the fastest-growing environmental concerns globally. We are deeply committed to ensuring that the technology we deploy today does not become a hazard tomorrow.

Our Role as an ICT Importer

Inecoliv is a premier global integration partner and importer of enterprise-grade hardware, including networking equipment, server systems, and robust security appliances. While we do not manufacture or produce electronic goods domestically, our operations involve importing high-end electronics to support our enterprise clients in India.

Under the guidelines established by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) and the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, importers of electrical and electronic equipment (EEE) bear an Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR). We strictly adhere to the E-Waste (Management) Rules, ensuring that all hardware introduced by us is managed responsibly at the end of its operational lifecycle.

IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) & Data Security

Enterprise networking and server infrastructure often contain highly sensitive corporate configurations and data. Our end-of-life process ensures complete data sanitization and physical destruction of memory components before the hardware is routed for recycling.

Safe Disposal Mechanism for Clients

To facilitate the safe and compliant disposal of outdated or end-of-life IT assets, we partner with government-authorized E-Waste recycling agencies (Producer Responsibility Organizations - PROs). When the infrastructure we have supplied reaches the end of its lifecycle, we assist our clients in channeling these components through proper, authorized networks.

How to return end-of-life hardware:

  1. Initiate a Request: Contact our dedicated support team at info@inecoliv.com regarding the decommissioning of legacy Inecoliv-supplied hardware.
  2. Assessment & Unracking: Our technical team will guide you on securely unracking the equipment and ensuring all sensitive corporate configurations are erased.
  3. Authorized Collection: We will coordinate with our authorized PRO partners to safely collect the hardware from your facility for environmentally sound recycling and material recovery.

Do's and Don'ts of E-Waste Management

We urge all our clients and partners to follow these best practices when handling end-of-life electronic equipment:

The Do's:

  • Always hand over discarded enterprise IT equipment only to authorized e-waste recyclers.
  • Keep end-of-life electronics in an isolated, dry area to prevent accidental damage or leakage of components before disposal.
  • Ensure all corporate data, routing configurations, and proprietary information are securely wiped from network appliances before handing them over.

The Don'ts:

  • Do not dispose of electronic hardware in regular municipal waste bins or landfills.
  • Do not sell or hand over complex IT infrastructure to informal, unorganized, or unregistered scrap dealers.
  • Do not attempt to dismantle server chassis, switches, or firewalls yourself, as it may expose you to hazardous materials.
  • Do not mix e-waste with everyday organic or combustible waste.
